Ways Thumbs Up Kiddos Makes A Difference

Nonverbal ques are just as important as verbal ques.  Our father taught us that. He taught us to be considerate of all people and never give what you aren’t willing to accept. In 2010, the reality of communicating to someone who was  unable to communicate with words became the reality for the Robinson’s.  It was a difficult challenge to overcome and understand  that love looks like a smile and thumbs up gesture.  Love has no words. 

How do you ensure someone needs are met when they can’t ask for help ?

Thumbs up Kiddos  LLC formation was developed for all families who want to find ways to learn total communication, accessibility, and discover inclusive environments that engage and encourage acceptance.  Discussions and safe spaces to connect, conversations with and without words are the key components of interaction.  Without interaction there will be isolation.  A simple thumbs up is a reassurance that we understand you, we see you, and we celebrate you. 

We plan to make sure the Legacy Will continue.  We will be the hands and feet to bring acceptance to a community that’s not loss for words at all. Thumbs up Kiddos supports active engagement for communication, learning, and sportsmanship.  Thumbs up!
